Created for my FINE 201 course, I was tasked with writing my “best story ever” and translating it into another medium. The story didn't need to be happy or the best thing that ever happened to me, it just had to be my best story. I chose a breakup story that was a little weird, a little crazy, and honestly kind of funny. Maybe a little personal but it is 100% true. 

For the medium, I decided to put this story into a booklet with loads of graphics. A big element of this story is where it takes place so I choose to layout the story over graphics that mimic my surroundings during the story. This is where I took some creative liberties. Some of the objects are very accurate and based on my ex-girlfriend's actual phone, chapstick, etc. But everything else is a little stylized for effect.

Making this project, I got to expand my abilities with Adobe products and really got to experiment with my design style. I chose to go a little funky. I wanted bright colours, overly stylized graphics, and to show objects that had actual meaning to me.
